Low mood despite taking antidepressants? Two key features of depression include low motivation and difficulty feeling enjoyment. We are testing whether a medication, pramipexole, helps reduce depression more than a placebo.

PAX-D is currently recruiting at nine centres across the UK.

Please contact us if you:
  • Are aged 18 years or older
  • Are experiencing depression
  • Have tried 2 or more antidepressants but still feel depressed
  • Have no previous history of psychosis, bipolar depression, or impulse control disorders
